A pool heat pump doesn't burn anything to make heat. It pulls warmth out of the outside air and moves it into your pool water. It's the same idea as your refrigerator, running the other way. What happens inside:
| ✓ | A fan draws outside air across a coil filled with refrigerant | | ✓ | The refrigerant picks up the heat from that air | | ✓ | A compressor concentrates the heat | | ✓ | Your pool water flows past and carries the heat back to the pool |
 | | Gulfstream heat pumps we installed at Black Diamond, Wellington |
Because it runs on electricity, there's no gas line or propane tank to plan around, and South Florida's warm air gives it plenty to work with. We install AquaCal and Gulfstream heat pumps, along with Jandy, Raypak and Hayward.
